  • Both springs worn out at the same time
  • A heavier door: insulated, wood or oversized

  • A part we have to order in

How the price works

We look at the whole door, not only the broken part, and your exact price comes before we pick up a tool. Springs and openers ride on the truck, so most spring and opener jobs get done on the same visit.

Questions

Is the quote free?

Yes. Coming out, looking at the door and quoting the job is free.

Do you charge extra on weekends?

No. Weekends cost the same as weekdays.

Why is a spring job more than the part?

The $285 covers the spring, winding it to the right tension, balancing the door and a tune-up of the whole door.

Car stuck in the garage?

Call and describe what the door's doing. We'll tell you the likely cause and the starting price over the phone.
